
Studio Manager
Location: Golden, CO (or Golden, CO preferred)
Hours: Full Time
Position Mission
The Studio Manager will oversee daily operations in FOCUS’ studio, creating high-quality video and short-form content. This role will work closely with the Director of Video and Media Production, the digital marketing team and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of projects, from pre-production through post-production. The Studio Manager will be instrumental in supporting creative initiatives of departments while managing studio equipment, schedules, and workflow.
Position Responsibilities
Studio Operations:
- Manage studio setup, maintenance, and equipment inventory.
- Ensure the studio is production-ready for scheduled shoots.
- Coordinate repairs and upgrades to equipment as needed.
Content Creation:
- Produce short-form content for social media and internal projects.
- Assist in larger video productions, including setup, filming, and editing.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and execute ideas that align with FOCUS’ mission.
Project Management:
- Schedule and coordinate studio usage for various projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects by managing production timelines and resources.
Growth & Development:
- Participate in training opportunities to expand technical and creative skills.
- Work towards managing larger video productions independently.
Qualifications
- - Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Film, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- - 1+ years of experience in studio or video production
- - Proficiency in video production tools, including cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
- - Familiarity with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- - Willingness to learn and take on greater responsibilities over time
- - Understanding of Catholic teaching and values is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
For this role, we anticipate paying $65,000 - $85,000/year. (This role is also eligible for bonus pay.) This range is an estimate. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the provided range and will be adjusted based on various factors including qualifications, experience, abilities, geographic location, and duties.
